He’s five months old, and I am at a loss as to break him of the habit… if I lock him out of the room where the litter is, then the cat is either locked in or out. It’s so gross and I’m so sick of cleaning up the litter he digs up… any ideas?

You can put the liter box in a play pen used for kids outside. Your cat can jump in the pen, but it will keep the dog out.
