Your first Cat Show - What you should know and expect.
Attending your first cat show? Here are some things to keep in mind. Make sure when you first arrive ( and keep in mind to try and arrive at least an hour before the announced time of judging) check in with the entry clerk. At that time you will receive your cage number and benching row designation. Once you have your cage information you can proceed to yourcage and set it up as outlined by the show rules.
Make sure to locate the ring(s) your cat will be showing in before you need to actually be at the ring. This will make sure you know where you are going and will not be late getting to the ring.
If you need to leave the benching area or just want to walk around to check out the other cats or vendors, make sure you have someone that can watch your cat while you are away.
Good Luck and hope you enjoy the show.
